Pump selection

Usually when we select a pump, we will ask the user the capacity, lift requirements, the capacity and head can not be determined, it can not be positive accurate selection.
Normally,Customers should tell us the working situation such as what is the vertical height,what is the horizontal distance,how are the pipes arranged.elbow quantity,caliber of pipeline, what kind of liquid need to be transported.
We will make sure what kind of pump we used first and then according to the working situation choose the exactly item number.
The required lift can be calculated according to the vertical height of the transmission, the elbow and the horizontal distance, and the loss of the pipeline.

Pressure fluctuation propagation of a pump turbine at pump mode under low head condition

Pressure fluctuation at the vaneless space and vanes passages is one of the most important problems for the stable operation of a pump turbine. The fluctuation appears in any operating condition. Much research has been done on the pressure fluctuation of hydraulic machinery. However, the details of pressure fluctuation propagation of the pump turbine at the pump mode have not been revealed. The modern pump turbine with high water head requires the runner to be “flat”, which would induce pressure fluctuation more easily than the low head pump turbine. Difference between suction stroke and lift head of water pump

Pump self-priming capacity is also called maximum self suction height.It is the maximum height at which the water is pumped (the vertical distance between the pump and the the liquid surface to be pumped) without fill in water into the pump tunnel. General water level is lower than the location of the pump, you need to pump self-priming capacity.For example ,if we need to pump water from a river ,we will not plan pipe first,so we need a pump which has self-priming capacity.
