Application of pumps

Pump a device that raises, transfers, delivers, or compresses fluid.It usually raise liquid from low position and transfer liquid to highier position,most of pumps are electric pump. 
Pumps can used in agriculture:irragation;
Running water project:water raise,water transfer,water distribution,water pressure booster;
Waste water treatment:dirty water pump,drain water,transfer water,water filtration,like ro booster pump; 
Heat power station:boiler feedwater,coolant water,recycled water,clean ash; 
Mine and steelworks:drain water,hydraulic coal mining,Steel dephosphorization; 
Oil industry:drilling project,oil transfer,water supply,oil suction,oil refining; 
Chemical industry:chemical liquid,heat liquid,cool liquid.metal smelting; Shipping industry:boiler feedwater,raise coolant water,tranfer recycled water,transfer oil goods,clean ship cabin,balance the water go by ship, push ship forward;
Construction industry:drain water,dredging,concretion,shower pump; Building equipment:boiler feedwater,building water supply,drain waste water,temperature water cycle,aquarium water pump,air conditioning; Light industry: pulp transfer,medicament transfer,ceramic slurry transfer; 
Food industry:drink,milk and so on transfer.

Pressure fluctuation propagation of a pump turbine at pump mode under low head condition

Pressure fluctuation at the vaneless space and vanes passages is one of the most important problems for the stable operation of a pump turbine. The fluctuation appears in any operating condition. Much research has been done on the pressure fluctuation of hydraulic machinery. However, the details of pressure fluctuation propagation of the pump turbine at the pump mode have not been revealed. The modern pump turbine with high water head requires the runner to be “flat”, which would induce pressure fluctuation more easily than the low head pump turbine. In this article, a high head pump turbine model is used as the research object. As the pressure fluctuation at off-design point is more serious than at the design point, the low head condition is chosen as the research condition. Difference between suction stroke and lift head of water pump

Pump self-priming capacity is also called maximum self suction height.It is the maximum height at which the water is pumped (the vertical distance between the pump and the the liquid surface to be pumped) without fill in water into the pump tunnel. General water level is lower than the location of the pump, you need to pump self-priming capacity.For example ,if we need to pump water from a river ,we will not plan pipe first,so we need a pump which has self-priming capacity. Or we need to pump some corrosive liquid,we can not fill water into the water pump tunnel. Some centrifugal water pumps do not have self-priming capacity,they need to fill in water at first time of using.
